Davening Intern

Job Description

The Davening Intern will serve as a catalyst to enrich the sound and feel of tefillah at Congregation Shaarie Torah. The Davening Intern will serve as co-prayer leader and chief inspiration officer and will provide joyous, soulful, and spiritual tunes and music. While vocal and musical skill is essential, inspiring robust community participation in prayer and song is equally important. Creativity encouraged. This is a part-time position with a schedule varying depending on the ritual calendar.

The Davening Intern will be expected to join our community IRL at least once a month and provide regular singing opportunities virtually in not in Portland in order to help inspire and create a davening team.

This position can transform into a P/T Davening Director position.
