About Company
We are a Reform congregation approaching our 105th anniversary. Alameda is a quirky city with a main island and the Bay Farm peninsula. Our synagogue is on Bay Farm, which shares the peninsula with the San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport. We are a small community, with a part-time rabbi, part-time director of education, and part-time operations manager. Many of our congregants enjoy participating in services, praying together in both English and Hebrew. Our religious school is growing and our family school / Tot Shabbat is a unique opportunity for East Bay families to enjoy Shabbat together. Our largest spiritual gatherings occur on the High Holy Days.
