Congregation Ner Tamid in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, a vibrant Conservative congregation, seeks a clergy partner for our lead Rabbi. We are looking for a Rabbi, Cantor or Cantorial Soloist, Song Leader and/or talented Prayer Leader. Are you passionate and forward-thinking and seeking a meaningful opportunity?

We are open to one person who can fulfill all of the duties listed below or to a couple of people who are passionate about pieces of this job. We are looking for candidates who are warm, organized, connect and collaborate well with the congregation and its leadership. This person should have well-trained vocal and musical skills that inspire congregational participation.

Clergy/Other Applicable Professional Training:
Officiate at B’nai Mitzvah; Officiate at High Holidays; Lead Shabbat Services; Manage weekly Torah readings/readers; Participate in weekly Torah readings; Lead band for monthly Band Shabbat; Sub for lead Rabbi when he is on vacation or ill; Back up for Shivah and Funerals

Passionate Jewish Educator:
Prepare B’nai Mitzvah Students; Teach shira in religious school and preschool; Teach Torah and Haftarah reading to congregants; Train congregants to lead services
