Job Description

We seek a Cantor, Student Cantor or Cantorial Soloist for our dynamic, growing Reform congregation. Candidates who are interested in all or one/more of the responsibilities below will be considered. Depending on which/all responsibilities are filled will determine whether we offer salary (all/most responsibilities), honorarium (High Holy Days), or fee per hour. (BM tutoring).

• Partner with our Rabbi in leading some/all Friday night services, Saturday morning B’nai Mitzvah services (nine during 2023-24), and Tot Shabbat services
• Work closely with our Rabbi to prepare services for the High Holy Days, co-lead with the Rabbi, Cantor Emeritus, and professional choir (will include meetings and rehearsals)
• Tutor students in preparation for Bar/Bat Mitzvah (nine students will become Bar/Bat Mitzvah during 2023-24)
