Job Description

Temple Beth Sholom of San Leandro seeks a summer camp songleader to bring ruach and fun Jewish music to our six week Jewish summer day camp! The position would run June 17th – July 26th. The song leader would join the program for three hours a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for one-hour song sessions. Ideally the song-leading sessions would either be in the morning or later afternoon.There is some flexibility around the dates and timing of the sessions. Our synagogue has ample parking and is accessible by BART.

We are looking for:

A songleader who plays guitar and has experience working with children ages 4-12.

A songleader who can play classic Jewish camp songs but also has a repertoire of new Jewish kids music.

A professional who is organized and prompt.

A songleader that brings ruach, heart, and fun!

The pay is $80-$120/hr, DOE

We are looking to fill the position by May 15, 2024.
