Ramah Berkshires is seeking a Rosh Shira/Summer Song Leader to join our Summer team to enhance the Camp community through Music and song leading.
The Song Leader will be part of our larger performing arts team and will supervise a team of up to 5 other musicians. They will work collaboratively to ensure that Camp has a culture of ruach filled Hebrew song through programming such as regular music elective, singing at meals, and through Shabbat programming. Additionally, a musical highlight of each summer is the Zimriyah, our annual song festival!
The song leader should have professional/pre-professional level skills as a musician/experience as a song leader. Familiarity with Jewish musical prayer on an intermediate/advanced level and ability to lead; play an instrument on a professional/pre-professional level. Hebrew skills on an intermediate level.
