Camp Music Specialist

Job Description

The Music Specialist is our camp song leader and ruach maker! This person oversees and facilitates music programs at Camp Emeth, including leading songs at morning and afternoon flagpole (Monday-Friday), leading Birkat after lunch daily, leading group music times Monday-Thursday, leading all-camp song sessions on Fridays, and helping to lead all-camp t’fillah alongside members of clergy each Friday. Along with demonstrating their musical proficiency, this person must be able to engage with children in grades K-8 in age-appropriate and creative ways, as well as work collaboratively with our team of specialists to help facilitate Friday programs.

All of our specialists also help out in various roles at camp, such as assisting during carpool, all-camp programs and field trips, and during staff training.

Camp Dates:
June 9 – Aug 1, 2025 (no camp held June 19 or July 4)
Camp Staff Training will take place June 3-6 (exact times TBD)
Regular staff hours are Mon-Fri 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
plus staff meetings each Thursday 4:00 – 5:00 PM
All-Camp Late Nights July 2 and July 30 (staff stays until 9:00 PM)

Staff are fully compensated for extra hours worked during Staff Meetings and Late Nights

Pay rate dependent on experience
